It is interesting that you submitted this image as recently my husband and I were watching a YouTube video by Gavin Hardcastle, where he was using this as his subject. One of the things he suggested was that when confronted with such a large subject, consider taking smaller elements, once you have photographed the "larger" view. So, I experimented with a different crop, keeping the couple in for size comparison. I used a linear gradient on the sky to intensify it, and a radial gradient on the waterfall and central part of the image. With the radial gradient I used DeHaze in LR as I'm sure there is a lot of water in the air. Just an alternative suggestion. It looks like an amazing place to visit!   Posted: 02/03/2025 23:53:14

I agree with Dorinda that the image is more effective in a crop.   Posted: 02/04/2025 12:56:22

I was thinking of a video with a very similar topic to what Dorinda mentioned, it was by landscape photographer William Patino. In it he cautioned about going too big, or wanting to show the viewer all of the great vista. A tight crop might be better here.   Posted: 02/08/2025 20:59:36

I agreed that it is good photography concept to show contrast, in this case big vs small in size.

I had also done a re-crop of the original by having the waterfall and the road as leading lines towards the wedding couple.
