This picture was taking in Milan in October of this year. We were walking and I saw the bench with an umbrella. It was raining and I took a picture with my Samsung S23 Utra. When we passed it and I looked back , I saw a the person was on this bench under the umbrella.

Interesting photo, good color and I like the motion blur in the rain. I kind of agree with Walter and Mark, it might be nice to see more of the surroundings and please pick up the trash on the right side :-) Posted: 01/06/2025 15:20:03
It is always the photographer's choice, how the image is presented. I enjoy the image as presented but agree that including more surroundings would give the image a sense of oddity. The viewer might be more inclined to ask "why is this umbrella up but without anyone near it"? Posted: 01/09/2025 18:13:34
Nicely captured red umbrella It would also be interesting to capture the umbrella from the other side I would crop this image in from the left so that the umbrella would be off centerI would also clone out the weeds and trash on the right I might clone out the arc of concrete blocks but there is an argument that the arc also mimics the arc of the umbrella Posted: 01/14/2025 21:42:30
