About the Image(s)
Recently we visited a local public garden (Kubota Gardens) in Seattle. It had been raining but fortunately for us, we caught a break in the weather. This was beside a waterfall pool. The longer fern fronds are "sword ferns". They and the other nearby plants are native to this area. I used my 105mm macro and was about 10-12 feet from the ferns. I cleaned up some debris in LR. (BTW, LR has a new AI feature that works quite well for removing small items.) I cropped in a little and made some adjustments to the light and saturation in order to add some feeling of depth to the image.

Very peaceful scene. Colors are nice, not overly saturated and there is nice separation between the shadows and the bright areas.   Posted: 11/26/2024 18:03:41
