About the Image(s)

During our cruise, passengers could up on deck and walk above with harnesses. I cropped this to concentrate more on the 2 people. This was all done in Lightroom with Semi Silver, picked a preset then off to develop to manipulate. Besides contrast, highlights, shadows, whites, blacks, a LOT of adjustments with the color sliders.

I understand why you cropped. While it does concentrate more on the two people, it lost its sense of peril to me.
Love all the adjustments you did. Looks like a fun cruise with lots of excitement.   Posted: 07/08/2024 16:23:17

The cropping to an almost square format was necessary as the 'overhang' on the building in the background could be a very great distraction. The conversion to mono has worked well as it has removed the attraction of the coloured steel work. I wonder whether just leaving the two people in colour would have created a stronger image.   Posted: 07/11/2024 14:22:57

Great shot, good crop. I think that it woud also have been interesting to retain the colors of those two figures.   Posted: 07/15/2024 17:40:23

I like the picture overall, the crop is good, but I think the colors may have added more depth to it.   Posted: 07/17/2024 17:54:30
