About the Image(s)

Every year the Chicago Botanic Garden has a “Lightscape: festival, where trees and bushed along a one mile plus path are lit with different colors of light.
This is an image I made there a few week ago.

Very fun. Dec. 16 I am coordinating a field trip for children to go see the Bellevue Botanical Gardens, which has the same kind of display. This can be a challenge to photograph and you have caught it well. Is it a phone image? Phones can be sometimes better results since they automatically adjust for the settings. The only suggestion I have is that the fence on the left side background could be removed.   Posted: 12/06/2021 10:26:52

Lauren, thanks for the suggestion. It was my Canon RP, not a iPhone.   Posted: 12/06/2021 10:49:16

Great image for this time of year. I agree with Lauren that the fence should be removed or darkened. Fun image.   Posted: 12/07/2021 14:31:28

The coloured lighting on the trees, makes an excellent display, and enhances their shapes. There is a fence like structure on the left which has been caught in the lights, that would be better either darkened or cloned out.   Posted: 12/08/2021 07:29:24

Great colors and a pretty interesting tree. You could either clone that fence or just crop in a little bit all the way around. Plus perhaps a little noise reduction.   Posted: 12/21/2021 12:41:05
