About the Image(s)

Actually I have no idea who these folks are.. The original is a 4 shot HDR with a few LR adjustments for highlights and shadows. Then it was quickly converted to B&W with Seim's Silver. Brought into PS and used a luminosity mask to control the highlights in the trees. Then used NIK Color Efex for contrast and a lower positioned vignette to tone down the upper half of the image.

An interesting record shot of the 3 gravestones, mono suits the subject. I feel that it may have been better taken from a lower viewpoint, so we are not looking down onto the stones.   Posted: 07/26/2025 06:45:55

Ok, playing. Of course, I cropped to only two stones, and the post give three subject focus, getting rid of background brush. I also converted to BW using a green filter to grab the moss detail. Just playing and another take.
Fun walk in the yard.   Posted: 07/26/2025 22:54:57

An interesting image and thoughtfull post processing. Conversion to black and white emphasized composition and contrast. It also invokes a sense of notalgia and timeleessness. I agree with Jon, a lower camera angle can yield a different perspective.   Posted: 07/27/2025 07:11:48
