While walking down the beach by Tarcoles, Costa Rica, I spotted this green parrot. He was at the top of the tree, and I used my new 300 mm lens (600 equivalent) on a monopod to catch him. 300 mm, f8.0, 1/3200 sec, ISO 800. My settings were waiting for him to fly, and he never did. I processed him in Topaz Photo AI for denoise and sharpness, and Lightroom. Isn't he a pretty bird? His wife was on the branch below, but I couldn't get both at the same time...they mate for life.
