About the Image(s)
While visiting my hometown of Multan, Pakistan, en route to Sri Lanka
for PSA PG3, I captured this handheld image of a street vendor selling
crackers after sunset. The shot was taken with a Tamron 24-70mm lens
on a Nikon D850 at ISO 10000, f/2.8, and 1/160 sec at 70mm.

These are tough photos and overall, a pretty nice job. The limited focus helps the vendor stand out amongst the bright foreground and line up of bikes. I think it would have helped to darken the foreground because the whites and pinks are quite bright. A vignette would probably have helped along with a possible crop of the bottom.   Posted: 02/18/2025 17:49:13
These street portraits are always difficult usually because the background is too busy and can overpower the subject. Here your background appears to been shade and the subject well lit and the use of a wide aperture has also helped by throwing it out of focus. I like your foreground of flowers but feel that the more out of focus ones at the front would have been better cropped off. Also there are a few very bright highlights that would be better toned down.   Posted: 02/21/2025 13:32:10
I applaud your shooting street photos as I can never get a good one myself. I love that the street vendor is well lit with nice catchlights in his eyes.
Not sure about where the crackers are as I'm unfamiliar with this location. All I see is what I think are flowers in the foreground.
As Queen of Cropping, I might have cropped into a square thus removing some of the bright foreground AND the white spots at the top. This, of course, is personal preference.   Posted: 02/21/2025 14:54:26
