On New Year's Day, some locals do a polar plunge in our Lake Monroe. I cropped, sharpened in Topaz. And yes, it was cold.

Congratulations on you new man. This image does not work for me, there is a total disconnect been the 3 main elements. The group on the right and the lady appear to be quite interested to somethings off on the right rather than the swimmers. Posted: 01/11/2025 09:45:42
Thanks. Right you are about the disconnect. I was having trouble with just shooting the swimmers/plungers as there was no obvious reference to the temperature.

It was really cold. As this was the first time shooting, I was unprepared as to how to shoot. Any other ideas would be helpful and as always thanks for your expert feedback. Posted: 01/12/2025 02:05:55
