I took the scenery from my balcony one early morning when it was foggy and raining.
The lady with the umbrella was taken elsewhere and I combined them to add a sense of mystery to the image.
I then converted the combination to mono.

This is a super image, very atmospheric. You have positioned the lady perfectly, just to the right of the sunlit puddles. My only critique would be that I feel it would possibly be stronger as a square image cropping off the bare trees top left. Posted: 01/11/2025 09:42:42

I love the mystery of this image. I would not go for a square crop but maybe a 1/4 of the top down because the trees are sticks and a black blob up there. Mist is wonderful and very fun to photograph - I like the light that she is moving toward. Posted: 01/20/2025 17:09:45

Jan, very thought out image. I would normally say the top quarter needs some cropping but in this case it all balances. It communicates emotional reaction and is very well done. Posted: 01/20/2025 18:46:41
