About the Image(s)
This was taken in the Palouse region of Eastern Washington. The wagon is actually an old water tank. ISO 1600, 90mm, f8, .6 sec. The lights from a nearby town interfere with the night shot, but I liked the way the wagon lined up with the Milky Way stars. Any thoughts on processing where there is light pollution in astro photography?

To me this is a great shot, with the Milky Way lining up with the top of the old water tank, which is very well exposed to reveal its detail.

Lauren, you have a great eye for something different. Unfortunately the light appears to be coming from two opposite directions but I still like it. The town or the moon could be toned down. The only adjustment I think it really needed was a little more space in front of the wagon. Hope you don't mind but I gave it a try. Well done.   Posted: 01/20/2025 19:02:52
