About the Image(s)

An early morning outing to the local lake with friends who are into bird photography. I joined them shooting these birds which I forgot what they were called.
I cropped and did an automatic adjustment in Luminar Neo.

I can see you have heavily cropped this to make the bird the main subject. I would like to see more space on the left for the bird to run/take off into. I like your line of splashes behind the bird.   Posted: 12/12/2024 12:08:53

Ok, definitely did not have the type of success that Brad had with Lightroom. Then again, I used expand from Luminar Neo. I had to take it to Paintshop to clone the obvious expansion line. Probably this was not the best use of AI for this "patterned" water.
I do agree with you that it needs more space to "fly" into.   Posted: 12/12/2024 23:48:44

So, I tried a genErase in Luminar Neo. Maybe I like it better but still no prize.   Posted: 12/12/2024 23:54:01

I love the motion of catching the tip toe water splashes. The bird is a bit dark, and so hard to identify. Several have this behavior. Where were you?   Posted: 12/18/2024 18:52:39

I suggest two things: if you use PS you can extend the canvas, i.e.in front of the bird. And then I would rotate the image 180 degrees so that the bird flies from left to right. And you don't need all those splashes.   Posted: 12/21/2024 18:51:59
