This was taken 3 years ago in Vail, CO during the kayak competition. This competitor was doing a forward roll. I only did a little cropping, enhanced saturation, and some masking. Camera: Canon R5, 100mm lens, F5, 1/1000.

Wow, George! An action photo where everything, including the title, falls in place. The brilliant complementary colors of the sunlit kayak make it even more special. I think that Georgeīs suggestion about the shadows might even bring out something of the competitorīs expression? Posted: 10/10/2026 08:02:19
