This image was shot during a rock themed concert which was held a few weeks ago. The aim was to capture emotions and a pose which conveys a triangular composition. Post-processing entailed sharpening, cropping and colour correction.

You captured the singer well. He "movement" adds to this, and she stands out from the darker background. I wonder if cropping part of the top helps the composition?

Thanks alot Bob for the comment. I also wondered whether having the top part of the image cropped would yield a better image. I just decided not to do so given the choir singers give context and they played an important role.

Mark, I agree on the bright floor. Concert lighting is always very difficult. As Bob mentioned, I would probably crop down at least 2 rows of background singers. That was the first thing I noticed that it seemed a little busy. Leaving one or two still give a sense of context. Posted: 12/15/2025 22:13:16
