About the Image(s)

We just returned from a three-week trip to Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, and Thailand; so, you will see many photos from the region in the next months. This one was taken at a market near Ninh Binh (Vietnam). When I saw this man cleaning the ears of a customer, I started shooting from the right side. Then, I noticed the mirror and moved to the left, to have his reflection included in the photo. Apparently, he is also a barber, based on the tools close to the mirror and the hair on the pavement. The only alteration I did was get rid of a large poster with a QR code on the left wall. For the rest, I preferred to keep all artifacts and wires, to better convey the scene. Technical specifications: 55mm. lens, 1/250 sec. at f/8.0, ISO 400, handheld.
