About the Image(s)
This was taken at a local Classic car show.
I copied the image, flipped it and then combined the 2 images. I added the eyes from a bird picture taken in Africa!

Excellent ideal Mervyn and very innovative. I also like to play with images in that way. The result has a feeling of realism combined with the abstract.   Posted: 03/03/2025 08:48:31

Hi Mervyn, I just love the Creature you have conjured! The expressive eyes and eyebrows and the bridge of the nose make him look totally alive, and I can imagine the joy you must have felt when you have first seen the makings of him in the original. - I think that he also makes a fine balanced image purely visually, with the clever use of symmetry, shadows, reflections and color.   Posted: 03/08/2025 02:27:05
Mervyn. A very catchy image. The tonal values and reflections work well. Your blending of the two halves is seamless and adds the the "realism" of the image, contrasting with the two lights facing each other. My first thought when looking at this is wondering what it would look like if one of the "eyes" (just the lens, not the housing) were looking the other way ?

An intriquing and creative image. You have combined the two halves perfectly. In the current age of AI and Robots, it make me think that this can be a robotic car, able to perform different tasks besides auto drive.   Posted: 03/22/2025 16:16:57
Very ingenious! You started with a simple close-up and produced a lively cross-eyed face, including eyebrows! It is good that the eyes are not fully symmetrical (not sure if you used the two eyes of the bird or duplicated, and inverted, one); it makes the picture more "realistic." Kudos!   Posted: 03/25/2025 15:57:49
What a creative image. I like doing these types of things occasionally, and your vision and approach are magic.   Posted: 03/25/2025 16:22:29
