About the Image(s)
Taken from a hill on the other side of the valley with a long tele lens. Not much editing done, just a bit of basic corrections, and some cloning out of little distractions on the edges. I also added some contrast I think to show the patterns in the vegetation.

OOH! I really love this shot. The layers of light emphasize the fields on the hill in the background. And the crisscross of light in the foreground is wonderful.
My only suggestion would be to crop some off the right side so that the building is not right in the center.   Posted: 01/08/2025 21:28:22

The ethereal background looks like an impressionist abstract painting. Against it, the main subject stands out prominently, especially the white chapel. I like the muted earth tones of the whole image, accentuated by the white building. I wouldn't change anything.   Posted: 01/09/2025 23:32:40

Hi Agnes, I think that this is absolutely beautiful, too! The way the bright white chapel glows in the middle of the darker tones offers something like a spiritual experience. I can imagine the light changing from one minute to the next over the valley, and I think that you have captured a perfect moment.   Posted: 01/10/2025 14:13:38

As others have stated, this is a dynamite image. Perhaps as Mervyn suggested, a slight crop on the right might help.   Posted: 01/10/2025 21:40:32

No doubt the white chapel stands out to be the center of attraction, though I am fascinated more by the wavy background. I like the muted colors and the composition of this lovely photo.   Posted: 01/20/2025 16:30:04
