About the Image(s)
This image was taken in Madagascar in September this year at the coast of a small town. It was low tide and the fishermen tried to catch fishes trapped in the lagoons and water channels. The sandbanks were separated by the blue water channels, with the horizon and the sky as backdrop.

Hi Tony, what an interesting place! I think that the horizontal stripes of yellow and blue make a very effective composition that suits perfectly to the panorama format. I think that a cropping a tiny bit off the right edge might bring the fishermen to an even more interesting position? - I think that focusing on the fishermen at the bottom would make another interesting image that would also make the viewer really appreciate the fine tones of the sand and water, but it would of course not show the formations in full. What do you think?   Posted: 12/07/2024 21:14:45

I love the layers of blue and yellow shown in this landscape.
The fisherman helps to anchor the scene. I wouldn't change anything.   Posted: 12/11/2024 19:05:55

Great layering effect. If you crop, I would suggest just removing the sky.   Posted: 12/11/2024 23:11:32

This photo is a study on layers, and it works very well! It is very geometric, and you captured the complementary colors of the sandbanks and the water channels. The fishermen break the monotony of the horizontal lines and provide an anchor for the viewer. Others have suggested some cropping. In this sense, I would crop from the right and a little from the top (keeping some of the sky), to move the fishermen to a more powerful position, while at the same time maintaining the panoramic format. I would also clone out the two dark spots on the top sandbank.   Posted: 12/16/2024 17:11:59
