Nikon D800; NIKKOR 28-300; 1/1000 @ f16; ISO 1600.
While walking around a car show, I chimped every so often. Just thought this shot made an interesting pattern. The original color was a deep magenta but, I prefer this monochrome version because color would detract from the curve intersections. The photographer is Yours truly.

Hi Peter, Good creativity. The image is a little flat for my taste I am including a slightly more contrasty version. Not sure what is behind yours truly, but I might consider removing it. I am also distracted by the space between the curves at the bottom. I want to be able to read the words when I see letters, but I cannot. If this just a straight camera shot, it is amazing to try to figure out. If a composite, it could just use a little work as it is too asynchronous (assymetrical?) for me.   Posted: 09/13/2023 11:17:37
Thanks for your thoughts and comment. The image is OOC, converted to BW in processing. Your version gives a more 3D look than my version. You have given me some good ideas. I will play around and see what happens.

Very interesting image. I have tried many times to do just as you did, but so far haven't liked any of the results...Great design lines and contrast.   Posted: 09/18/2023 15:50:06
An interesting and different image. The mono works well. Like the shapes and the curves almost make a heart!!
I would prefer it if the distraction that is beside you could be removed. Also I think the image would be improved if it was centered?   Posted: 09/18/2023 16:09:23
