About the Image(s)

South Park City is a replica of a city of the 1800s in the Colorado mountains. They host a living history weekend every year. Volunteers are in period costume.
I combined the images and used a Topaz filter to finish it.

Great idea and I like the way you have placed the men and then lowered the opacity (?).
Only thing I could suggest is to put a bit of shadow under their feet just to ground them a little as at the moment they are floating?   Posted: 09/08/2023 05:56:19

Thanks - how would you put the shadows under the feet? I think it is a great suggestion   Posted: 09/13/2023 11:09:34

Deborah, You can accomplish the same thing by using some of the sand placed under the boots on separate levels at different opacities.   Posted: 09/17/2023 18:47:11

Hi Deborah. Great composite idea. Last October I had the exact same problem. is a good fix.
I wonder if switching the left and center cowboy would help with the dark building hiding his hat. or just leave the dark building without a Lash Larue. Might it work better in color?

Deberah - I like the clever way you created a ghost town. To my eyes, I would have increased the transparency of the former residents. Lots of room to play with that concept.   Posted: 09/17/2023 18:55:33

Very well done. Yes, some shadows under the men's feet would made them more stable.   Posted: 09/18/2023 15:58:42
