About the Image(s)

About: I was at The Brookhaven National Laboratory. The original image is the particle accelerator. In post the usual adjustments for exposure, tonal range and sharpening were made; image was converted to BW; in PS put a slight curve with the distort/twirl filter; copied to a new layer & doubled canvas width; horizontal flip on new layer & manually matched both layers. Made final touchups.
