About the Image(s)
I was recently at a living history event in Taos, New Mexico. It was a mountain man encampment. It was wonderful to be able to photograph this event.
I cropped the original image and created the high key background from the tent. I used a Topaz Studio 2 for finishing. It put textures in the image, as well as the painterly look.

These are always good events to get images from.
I like the way you have processed the tent to give a lovely background and the vignette works well. The painterly look does make the image look like a painting.
The stray bit hanging off his hat bugs me but that is just being petty!!.
Well done.   Posted: 07/01/2025 16:06:28

(Groups 18 & 29)
Hi Deborah, I like to see what other Creative groups are doing. The piece of cord is probably a chin strap. Gets windy in them thar hills. He looks more like a gaucho to me. I might try to composite him with a horse, if you have any.   Posted: 07/28/2025 17:06:38
This is so well done! Your model should have this hanging on his wall!   Posted: 07/09/2025 20:24:13
