I took this photo several years ago of a child feeding a giraffe at the zoo. I loved how his tongue ed up for his treat.
As I became more familiar with using textures, I realized I could add a Background Texture and have it look as if the photo was taken in the wild.
Once the arm was gone, I wanted to focus on the tongue.
The photo became a composite with the butterfly landing on the tongue. Composite created in Photoshop.

Very cute idea adding the butterfly and background. Nice sharp image of the Giraffe, I am thinking he is a bit bright and maybe giving more contrast might darken him a bit. Posted: 04/14/2025 14:40:10
Great close up of the Giraffes head to start with. Love the background and also how you have brought out the texture in the head. Putting in the butterfly has added another dimension to the image.
