About the Image(s)

For this image, I combined three photos. The background is a black-and-white infrared photo I took of my backyard. The silhouette comes from an interpretive dance performance I recently attended. Unfortunately, many of the photos from the show didn’t turn out well due to the strobe lighting, so I’ve been looking for creative ways to repurpose them. The moon is from an earlier photo study I did while learning astrophotography.

To create the final composition, I overlaid each image onto the base photo and digitally painted additional clouds, lightening those near the silhouette to help it feel more integrated and grounded within the scene.

See original image for photo settings.

I love what you did here. Looks like it could be a scene out of a movie!   Posted: 02/09/2025 23:22:17

I enjoy your Creativity. It is inspirational. Converting it to B&W increases the mood, seeing the figures through the haze. The moon is a nice touch, that many might not think of. Good job of compositing.   Posted: 02/14/2025 18:04:01
