This is something I have been wanting to try for sometime. I was not totally successful so I tried playing with the sliders in Lightroom, and a texture from ON1 Effects 2023. I have a free version of ON1 and used it for the first time.
I raised a clear flat tray on some paint cans, put colored paper underneath. I added water and oil and snapped away using my 105mm macro lens.

Like the way the two colours reverse in the larger bubbles. A good project for a rainy day.

A great exercise. I like the colors and contrast. Can the drops be a bit sharper? Do you like ON!? What does it give you? Would love your reaction. I have the NIK Collection and Topaz Studio. There is so much out there. Posted: 02/14/2025 18:19:51
