About the Image(s)
This statue is located in Fairbanks, Alaska along the Chena River. I took the image to overexposed in post processed for the high key look. I thought the black and white emphasized the statue. I completed it with a topaz filter

Deborah - This is a sensational transformation. I am gonna try it just the way you stated. I think it almost looks "desparate" in a stow storm. Great idea.

Great technique - I am going to keep this in my back pocket. I love the new vibe - looks bleak, I can feel the cold. Very cool.   Posted: 11/05/2024 14:08:34

Neat treatment. High key is just what this image was asking for.
Well done.   Posted: 11/16/2024 01:18:33

I love the High Key approach and how you isolated the subject. With the High Key I can feel the cold of being in Fairbanks. Wonderful! I might try a slight vignette to frame the picture and limit my eye from wondering out of the picture.   Posted: 11/16/2024 19:10:24

Your post processing has made a lovely and poignant image and has more impact than the original. Looks very cold!!   Posted: 11/17/2024 23:09:53
