I used some old oasis foam and having cut out a piece I put bottle base into it so it was at an angle pointing downwards slightly. I made the room as dark as I could. The lighting comes from a coloured strand ( I cannot remember what it is called.) Battery lit and about a meter long. I pushed the light into the bottle and as the shutter was open and using black gloves I pulled it out of the bottle. Tried many attempts but felt this was the best.

Very creative! When I first look at it, I see a fish swimming up and out of the frame. The light coming out of the bottom looks like its tail moving in the water. I would love to see what the bottle looks like.   Posted: 11/05/2024 14:05:16

Highly original with lots of impact. Your image is a great example of less being more. It could be a fish, a bird, a rocket ship it doesn't matter. Enjoyable to look at. By placing the object at an angle, you have created a nice sense of motion. I wish there was some more room on the right, so the object doesn't look cramped. Still a neatnimage.   Posted: 11/16/2024 01:50:33

Many thanks for your comments. Looking at it again I agree needs more space on right side.   Posted: 11/16/2024 07:59:36

You are so Creative with your effects. Nicely done. I see a koi. More space around each side would allow for the movement I see in it.   Posted: 11/16/2024 19:18:58

Very effective result Angela and so different to your still life work. Interesting how folks have different interpretations -it might be a molotof cocktail?   Posted: 11/20/2024 16:59:34
