About the Image(s)
This image was taken recently at the Cleveland Air Show. It's an airplane performance team. Adjustments include bringing out the shadows more in photoshop and a slight crop. Also applied a high pass filter to sharpen the image a bit. I wanted to keep a lot of the clouds since I found an interesting element of the photo.

Great curves. The clouds add interest and context. Good post processing. Better if the spacing was equal, but that is what you had to work with.   Posted: 09/09/2023 12:57:20
Renee, what a GREAT capture! The curve of the jet streams are so graceful. You shutter speed was right on for stopping the action of the planes. I do think I like the depth of the blue sky in your original. I also think this image gives me the sense of the Yin Yang forces. I took the liberty of accentuating this concept a more by tiling the image just a bit.   Posted: 09/11/2023 09:39:48
What a great action shot with a lot of energy! I like what Terry did because it allows more room for the planes to fly into. Yes, I agree, the clouds add a great deal of interest to the shot.   Posted: 09/15/2023 01:40:13
Excellent action shot. The blue sky with clouds add interest to the image. I liked the blue sky in the original. The bottom trim is a little tight. Could have given a little more space for the bottom plane to move downward. Shutter speed was good for catching the action. Well done.   Posted: 09/18/2023 02:39:49
