About the Image(s)
We were driving down a highway and pulled into a rest stop for a break. There in front of me in the parking lot was a truck that obviously had been on fire. After parking our car, I ran over to take pictures of the demolished truck with my little Sony rx100 v. 6 camera. The settings were 1/1250 sec at f/8.0, ISO 640, 14.7 mm with a 24-200mm lens. I adjusted highlights (-6) and shadows (+92), texture, clarity, and vibrance in Lightroom, and cropped a bit. If I can, I pull place a photo of the front of the car in a Comment, so you can see more of the car.

Good post processing to a surreal display. Good to crop the distractions on the left. Interesting that the front was not captured.   Posted: 09/09/2023 13:01:25
Walter, I appreciate your comments. Front was not captured because there was too much distraction behind that part of the car.   Posted: 09/16/2023 08:22:15
Joan, I love how you processed this image to give it a more painterly look. You brought out so many details that are lost in the original. I wonder if it could use a little overall contrast, or maybe more Vibrance or Saturation to put even more focus on the front car.   Posted: 09/15/2023 01:51:55
Good suggestion. Thank you.   Posted: 09/16/2023 08:23:08
Interesting photo and good processing. Just crop seems me a little bit strange. I would try a closer crop of doors and wheel.   Posted: 09/17/2023 15:59:04
I like the artsy effect that was added, it makes the image much more exciting and less depressing. The contrast looks perfect to me   Posted: 09/19/2023 14:49:54
