About the Image(s)
Camera Canon R5. Focal length 240 mm, ISO-200, F-stop f/6.3 Used aperture Priority. Shutter speed 1/5000 sec (by camera) with exposure bias -2.3 step. I am not an experienced bird photographer. Just tried one during the visit to a village in West Bengal in February, 2026. Got a raw file which looked dark and thought of deleting it first. Then tried in PS with camera raw filter and other settings in PS like color, hue, levels and selective shadows. Used Topaz to sharpen and denoice. Finally trimmed the image.

Wow, unrecognisable from the original. Looking at the original I think I would have deleted it, but your processing has made it dood image. I like the way the foliage surrounds the bird, but the bird (& its food) remains the focal point.   Posted: 07/08/2026 13:28:50
Photographing birds from this image generally does not work but this one is an exception. I think the connection among the various greens in both the bird and the leaves make this a great capture. The fact that the bird has one of the green berries in his beak further strengthens this image. My only suggestion would be to clone out the to blurry dark spots on the lower right.   Posted: 07/09/2026 00:27:31
