About the Image(s)
This chapel is in the Callaway Gardens, Pine Mountain, GA. I had seen it late in the day on the previous day, but too late that day for the sun to shine in through the stained glass windows. I returned the next day for the sunshine and took this image.
The settings on my iPhone 15 Pro were 1/125 sec at f/1.8, ISO 50. In Lightroom I cropped and straightened it, and adjusted the lighting (highlights, shadows, whites, and blacks). Then I added a little texture and a border. It is mostly right out of the camera.

This image gives us a sense of serenity. You capture the stained glass at the perfect time. Not too bright and not too dark and the colors captured on the stone floor echo all that we see in the window. My only suggestion would be to use Generative assist in Photoshop to add enough at the top to see the all of the stone that surrounds the window.   Posted: 07/09/2026 01:05:49
I appreciate your suggestion. I will give it a try.   Posted: 07/09/2026 17:40:33
Nice colorful shot. The image is sharp. Your post processing is very nice. It is unfortunate that you missed the tip of the window arch. I liked the color shadows on the floor too.   Posted: 07/09/2026 17:24:29
Interesting shot. I like the way the reflections on the floor take your eye to the window. I just wonder (for me) about cropping out the smaller window on the right as it detracts from the main window. Great wood tones too.   Posted: 07/10/2026 19:29:28
