Lovely image , nice composition. I think cropping out the tree was a good idea. I prefer the colour version .. the hats are a strong distraction the mono but add to the tone balance in the other.
On my monitor the faces don't appear to be sharp… that may not be the case in your original.   Posted: 04/09/2026 19:14:16

Lovely photo of the twin sisters. I agree with what Ger has written - yes to cropping out the tree, yes to prefer color version in which the hats and the background enhance the image. And in the color version the softness of the faces also enhances the images of the sisters.   Posted: 04/09/2026 19:48:55
Nice shot. But I do wonder about cropping more on the left and the top of the image to get rid of the tree trunk and the line that seems to run across above the girls heads.   Posted: 04/17/2026 10:48:51
What a lovely setting the girls are in! Although you have done an excellent job on processing the black and white version, I feel that the color version gives us more of a mystical feeling. I like the cropping out of the tree but agree with Charles that the road line over their heads is a bit distracting. I also noted that the girl on the left seems to have her eyes close. I tried to clone a bit of the white from the girl on the right and place them into the eyes of the girl on the left. I also added a bit of a vignette.   Posted: 04/18/2026 01:41:17
