I captured this image of Studenica Monastery during my recent visit to Serbia using a Nikon D850 with a 16??“35 mm lens set to 26 mm (f/11, 1/100 sec, ISO 100). Framed by the monastery gate, the composition leads the viewer toward the luminous marble of Studenica’s main church. The heavy wooden door and stone arch create depth and contrast, while the clear midday light enhances the architectural details and soft textures of the stone. The result is a peaceful, inviting view of this 12th century UNESCO World Heritage site.

You have done a wonderful job processing the monastery itself. Eliminating hot spots and spot on focus however I feel that including all of the arch and darkening it a bit would add to this image. I do not have skills on working with perspective, but I wanted to give you an idea of what your could consider for improving this image. Posted: 12/17/2025 16:58:04
