Testing The Water by Terry Campanella

January 2025 - Testing The Water

About the Image(s)

This image was taken at a local park that has cable water-skiing feature in a man-made lake. Taken with my Nikon D-5200 on Manual Mode, Lens 55-300; Focal Length 165mm, Speed 1/2000 sec., F/6.3, ISO 500. Photoshop was used for post possessing which included basic adjustments, sharpening and cropping. Finally I used content area fill to hide the jump ramp that was distracting because of its bright color and size.

Oh, I have tried that when I was much much younger. It's not an easy task. You are very fast deep in the water.

This man is very experienced.

Good and sharp image. I would just cut it a little bit up and down.

I'm also sorry for leaving. But many reasons have decreased my interest for PSA exhibitions and many other activities. And it seems, that there's no interest in PSA to make the things better. So thank you once more for all the comments, that helped me improve my images.

Wonderful action shot. Good composition with the wave he created right behind him. Hard to comment on the crop and editing without seeing the original (did it show on others' screens?). But the result is great. Only improvement suggested is to see his eyes, but that isn't in your control.   Posted: 01/22/2025 13:40:47
