October 2026 - Two Merganser Ducks
About the Image(s)
Two Merganser ducks. Fairly common but I liked the mirroring effect of them overlapping. I thought the colors, reflections and background worked well for a pleasing shot.

Dough, it looks that you asked them to pose for you very symmetrical. Nice colors, sharp, and non distracting environmental background. Yes, it is a pleasing shot. Posted: 10/03/2026 20:05:55
Hi Doug - I agree with Isaac's comments - this IS a pleasing shot. A very peaceful scene. This is such an interesting contrast between the warm brown/orange and the cool white/gray tones! For your consideration, I would suggest trying a portrait shot with a much tighter crop at mid-body and including the reflection below the two heads for another option. Posted: 10/06/2026 03:46:27
Thx. I will try that. Posted: 10/06/2026 17:52:38
