Sarita Yeola
About the Image(s)
I took this photograph at the Cypress Wetlands in Port Royal, SC in April 2026. In LR I cropped the photograph vertically and brightened the eyes of the chicks. I also selectively blurred the background a little.

Begging chicks are priceless, Sarita! Your blurred background is done cleanly and your subjects are tack sharp - well done! I like your crop, but have one suggestion for your consideration - delete the large, dark stick on the left side, to draw and keep viewers' eyes focused more intently on this lovely family scene.   Posted: 07/01/2026 06:32:25
So many great images this month! I agree with Grace. Make stick disappear. Nice exposure on white subject.   Posted: 07/01/2026 21:54:00
Sarita, is it amazing as how the White Egret's do not loose a eye every time they feed the chicks. They go crazy and irrational specially when there are more than two in the nest. Here they are already asking for food, and the adult is ignoring them or beginning to regurgitate the food they bring home. Agree with the removal of the stick which is allowed in this group, but not in pure nature.   Posted: 07/06/2026 17:21:25
Great capture Sarita. Good story telling image and the exposure of the white birds is outstanding with no signs of any detail lost. Well done.   Posted: 07/09/2026 08:53:32
