About the Image(s)

Pandemonium was created this past December in Bosque del Apache - New Mexico. This is the characteristic Canadian white geese blast off. It is really amazing how they do not collide with each other in this event which takes only a few seconds. The second original image was created only about 5 seconds later (Camera speed is 12 frames per second). I used a Nikon D5 with the Nikkor prime lens 800 mm f/5.6 on a tripod, and with these settings: ISO 1250, f/8 and 1/1250 second with + 0.3 EC. The image was corrected for white balance, lens correction, exposure, brightness, added some clarity and texture as well as vibrance, and cropped it.
