Tells a story. Very nicely composed. Depth of field is perfect blurring the background but still giving a since of place. Exposure is good with texture in the whites. I would have brighten the eye of the adult and removed a couple of distracting spots on the chick and background. Nice capture.   Posted: 07/03/2025 17:37:12
Good sharp image well exposed against the out of focus background . The chick has that curious look trying to figure out on what is really happening ( ha-ha ).   Posted: 07/06/2025 09:24:02
Well composed image. I really like the interaction between the adult and the young, tells a story. The chick looks like a good student, very focused and eager.   Posted: 07/14/2025 14:39:38
Isaac, very nice composition. You got such a sharp and interesting image. Wonderful narrative and both eyes are very expressive. Amazing job - having been to Galapagos I know this was not an easy shot to get.   Posted: 07/21/2025 00:09:41
Isaac - This shot could be on a flyer advertising trips to Galapagos Islands for photographers. Sharp and finely-detailed, with both birds engaged in an important parent-chick ritual. Your close crop and shallow depth of field focuses all attention on these two birds.
One optional - but really unnecessary - suggestion for your consideration is that since the light is flat, you might play with spot-adding some gentle warmth to the foreground enhance your subjects even more.   Posted: 07/22/2025 23:32:08

Grace, a picture is worth a thousand words. When you make a suggestion, it is allowed to perform them on the image and upload it. This way we can have a real visualization.
BTW, I like very much nature's gift of a giant soft box light.   Posted: 07/23/2025 02:25:00

The relationship between the mother and chick is just precious. That makes an incredible image!   Posted: 07/29/2025 03:14:31
