About the Image(s)
The Magellanic Penguins is a South American penguin, breeding in Patagonia, and the Falkland Island where this image was created. Named after Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan who spotted the birds in 1520. They gather in large nesting colonies. In this image you can also appreciate the presence of giant kelp, the largest species of all seaweeds.
The image was created using a Nikon D800 with the Nikkor zoom lens 24-120 mm f/4 @ 120 mm and these settings: ISO 320, f/8 and 1/800 sec. The image was PP in LightRom and cropped.
