About the Image(s)
This month is the Colvillia season. There is a row of Colvilla trees by a river in Taoyuan county in Taiwan. There are many Japanese whit-eyes around there to eat the nectar. Last week, I used Sony A1 1/2500, F/4.0, Iso: 320 to get some beautiful image.

Hi this image is indeed colorful and beautiful. I only wish the little bird were a bit sharper - maybe you can denoise it a bit.   Posted: 11/13/2024 21:41:37

Pei-Fan, the Colvillea Racemosa aka Colville's Glory Tree, like the Royal Poinciana Tree, is native to Madagascar. Here we have a beautiful example of it, with the added bonus of the yellow bird with Green Eyes as you label it. These trees are sought after by the birds for its sweet nectar. The bird has a shadow around its beak that is distracting, Probably a fly or a bee out of focus, which I eliminated. Cropped the image to make the bird stand out better, still showing plenty of the tree.   Posted: 11/14/2024 16:30:51

Hi Pei fan, It is a very colorful photograph indeed. I like the composition and the bird stands out amongst the Colvillia flowers and blue sky.   Posted: 11/14/2024 20:03:16

I like the changes Isaac made to the White-eye, maybe the Japanese species?   Posted: 11/14/2024 22:00:04

This is a nice colourful image showing the bird feeding on the berries. The focus of the bird is slightly off as are the berries when compared to rhs of the image. The bird's head is nice and sharp . In photo salons one is not to remove or add to images?   Posted: 11/19/2024 18:39:02

Gerhard, you can not add. You can remove by cropping only.   Posted: 11/26/2024 13:37:08
