About the Image(s)
This is another image from my library from 2021. The original image was taken with a Sony A6400. I thought using Texture Blending would help clean up the background and focus on the Cowboy and Horse. Your comments and feedback are welcomed.

The horse and rider make a lovely image but the bacground makes it a winner in my book   Posted: 04/07/2026 20:26:37

Hi Tom,
Thanks for your comments and feedback. The additional space above the rider works well. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hi Greg, a very creative way of eliminating the original, less?than?ideal background. I agree that adding a little more space above the rider works well. One small thought, the ground beneath the horse feels a touch abrupt. You might consider extending it slightly and blending it out with a gradual blur so it tapers away more naturally from the horse. nice image well worked.   Posted: 04/12/2026 06:01:13
Hi Greg,
Greetings my friend.
An amazing capture and the post processing of the image from the original. The way you have used the background is simply superb. This is master editing. Loved it and thank you for sharing.

Hi Greg - The perfect image for use of the Texture Blending software. The horse and cowboy are well grounded, the colors chosen for the background compliment the focal point well and the heavier vignette works to highlight the main subject. The suggestion for a little more headroom offered by Tom Buckard is worth consideration too. Well done!   Posted: 04/13/2026 05:46:59
Hi Greg! The transformation of this image from the original to your result is amazing and turns a competent documentary image into a dramatic masterpiece. The light and dusty background are very effective. I agree that a little more space at the top is helpful, but this is an outstanding image, (and Black Bears do matter!)   Posted: 04/17/2026 21:23:37
