This past October, my granddaughter and I attended a show at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, an arts complex with ten performance spaces. After the show we were returning to the parking garage when I turned and was WOWed by this Dale Chihuly blown glass art framed by one of the beautiful architectural windows of the Ellie Caulkins Opera House. It turns out it is a permanent public art piece - a large chandelier installed in 2006 and hanging in the lobby to welcome visitors.
I took this image with my IPhone. Beyond the basic adjustments in post, I squared up and leveled the image and added a minor vignette. Most of my effort in post though, was to address window glare.

Hi Darcy,
Greetings my friend.
What an amazing architectural image that you have shared, in this edition my friend. Unless reading your description, It would appear as an abstract. A great composition and nothing more to add. Thank you for sharing.
Have a wonderful holidays ahead.
Cheers.

Hi Darcy,
Happy Holidays.
What a nice capture. The framing words really well. One suggestion. If you go into Photoshop-Capture Raw-select a mask of the window and slide the Black slider to darken the shadows and remove some of the background distractions.
Best regards,

Hi Greg - Your suggestion would be easier than my attempt in Lightroom. I'll give it a try! Have a joyful holiday season!   Posted: 12/11/2025 20:39:35

Hi Darcy. I LOVE this image! I agree that darkening the background black would be a slight improvement, but your concept, capture and execution are perfect. I might have to go check this out!!!! Happy Holidays!   Posted: 12/14/2025 23:23:26
