About the Image(s)

Hello guys,
This is an image shot from my recent tour in Maldives. I was visiting the island on 17th October 2024 for a personal trip. While taking a stroll in the primary walkways, I came across a cemetery and found my subject resting on an Epitaph. This image was captured by my Samsung S 23 Ultra mobile camera a little after the mid day hours on 17th.

I took this shot with a f/4.9, 1/50 sec with an ISO of 50 with no flash. A simple crop and light adjustment is done by cs6 and there it is, for you to give your feedback. This image was captured from a distance on a higher platform.

I hope you enjoy the image and any feedback is welcome.

Hi Kamal - What a grand pose you've caught with this lizard! The unique camera angle was a nice choice. The change of aspect ratio is helpful too, although I do believe your lizard needs a bit more room on top and in front . . . and perhaps a little less on the back end. The diagonal lines created by your lizard's perch and the lizard itself are a nice contribution to the composition.   Posted: 11/10/2025 05:44:48

Hi Darcy,
Greetings.
I understand the feedback you have given my friend. I played with the image a bit with your suggestions, this is what I got. I believe this new composition appears far better than my original submission.
Thanks again.
Cheers.

Hi Kamal,
You captured the Gecko in a strong pose. I agree with Darcy, you may need a little bit more room on the top of the frame.
Best regards,

Hi Kamal,
What a cool guy to meet on your walk! I like how you sharpened and enhanced the texture and color. I also agree that he needs more "headroom" and maybe a little less greenery behind.
If you really want to get fancy, you could ask Ps's AI engine to recreate the tip of his tail for you!
Great capture! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Karen,
Greetings my friend.

Thank you for your kind words. Yes, He was great to meet on my walk. I already edited as per our friend Darcy's suggestion and I think it's better than the original version.I don't know, how the PS's AI engine works and how can I ask him do that for me? Could you shed some light on that?

Thanks a lot.
Cheers.
Kamal.

Hi Kamal. What a handsome fellow. Your post processing did a great job of bringing out the texture and richness in this scene. I agree that it would help to have a little more room above his head, and less behind him, but the diagonal composition is effective and the color palette is very pleasing. My only other suggestion would be to clone out the bright white spots, especially the one in front of the lizard. Thanks for introducing us to this guy!   Posted: 11/15/2025 23:21:09

Hi Ingrid,
Greetings my friend.
It was a true privilage to introduce him, with all of you. Thank you, for your kind words. Yes, I did try to give him some head room; in my follow up edit after the suggestions, of our friend Darcy. I think that image is better than the original edition.
Thanks again.
Cheers.
