About the Image(s)
This image was taken on 15th October 2024, when I was flying from Singapore to Maldives by the Singapore Airlines flight. I had that unique vantage point from where I could make this image. An amazing scene unfolds in front of me while approaching the Male Airport for landing by SIA.
I used my Samsung Ultra mobile phone camera. This mobile camera is very effective to use in different situations & environments. After the image is created it was post processed by Photoshop CS6 with some cropping & light adjustment to present as it was.
I hope you enjoy the image and any feedback is welcome.

Syed, this is an absolutely gorgeous sea/island scape. The colors and sharpness are excellent. Might consider removing the cloud in the upper right. Your image has great visual impact and interest.   Posted: 01/13/2025 16:41:17

Hi Kamal, Lovely image well captured. I particularly like the way the eye is drawn to the main large island in the foreground with the viewer then directed towards the second occupied island in the group. The viewer is then left to explore the other islands and archipelago in the system. The analogous colour scheme works really well in this image with the hues blending seamlessly. It is a shame the cloud is there but I do not believe it detracts too much from the image. well seen and captured.   Posted: 01/16/2025 06:09:24

Hi Kamal - It's the colors that bring all the impact to this image. Great capture for all the reasons everyone else has mentioned. If it were mine, I might make it more of a panorama, taking it to a 16:9 aspect ratio. Doing this would take a bit of the water off the bottom and place the main large island in the lower third of the image . . . providing more interest and more leeway to let the eye flow upward as Tom describes. Anyway, just a thought. You've captured the Maldives from a unique angle, one that I haven't seen before. Nice work!   Posted: 01/20/2025 05:33:03
