I liked the before shot, but you have transformed it into something lovely and unique. Good crop to get rid of the leaves and really nice application of the texture to create a subtle but effective result.   Posted: 10/04/2026 18:09:08

I'm going to go with Barbara on this one. The original is great! The flower seems to loose some thing as it blends in with the texture of the background. the original is bright and crisp. I don't use ACR and Photoshop but I kind of get the gist of the layering. Maybe a different background?   Posted: 10/05/2026 00:30:58

I only recently began to edit my photographs beyond minor adjustment for color, cropping, brightness and contrast. So this is a very interesting approach creating a different atmosphere. The image gets a painterly feel through the wood structure. I like the clean preciseness of the original but I also appreciate the change in mood you gave it.   Posted: 10/06/2026 16:54:02

I agree with Gene and Barbra that I prefer the original. It has a clean, bright feel to it. I also like the inclusion of the leaves on the original which you lose with the tighter framing. I love the shades of white too in the original.   Posted: 10/07/2026 14:41:21
