This is a colorful and beautiful shot of the beach. The oranges in the sky create an ombre look, some of which is reflected in the water. Our eye is led up through the image by the water's edge. As a suggestion, I would clone or content aware out the dark rock in the water at the edge of the wave. It is a great shot, Russell.   Posted: 07/05/2026 23:06:59

I like the moodiness of the image. The crowds have gone home, lights are just coming on in the homes and cottages, and the beach is quiet --the best time of day. Good color capture and I like that the horizon if off-centered. The square crop works but did you try any portrait crops to accentuate the waterline fading into the distance?
Well done, Russell.   Posted: 07/07/2026 19:13:33

Hi Russell, a lovely sunset image shot across the water, creating the golden reflections, there are no distractions, with the building lights adding context and interest, I'm not sure about the square crop as I can see a nice vertical leading line of waves heading up to the building, also a 16:9 panorama would also suit, the image has a lovely colour pallet that is quite relaxing.   Posted: 07/11/2026 05:25:11
