I shot this of two on a date at a local holiday stroll last year (this year’s hasn’t started yet). Well, the two of them and the rest of the world via social media. My wife ??”of 20-plus years??” and I laugh. If we’d met today and either of us took our phone out, the date would be over. Today’s youth consider it almost mandatory.
The “As Shot” was with my Sony RX1R-II with Zeiss 35mm f/2 and Tiffen Pro-Mist 1/4 filter to make the lights sparkle. 1/160-sec at f/2.0. ISO 800, 1x1 format, rather than the standard 2x3.
The processed image has increased exposure (+2.5), contrast (+6), and shadows (+30). Reduced highlights (-76), whites (-12), and blacks (-7).
