The green grass allow us to see life is coming up and reminds us with LOSS their is a new start.
But I really appreciate you reminding me of the early HISTORY of your country which is sad but stuff which needs to be remembered etc.   Posted: 11/09/2025 15:28:48

Living in New England, we have numerous small cemeteries and grave yards with 18th century headstones so I can relate to your image. The clarity is excellent --many of ours are worn down by time and wether. The contrast helps focus the viewer onto the epitaphs. Hard to think that Thomas York was just 22-years old. Gives the photo and emotional impact.   Posted: 11/10/2025 12:57:49
It's interesting to see so much writing on the headstone. You usually only get the basic information of names and dates, and a short quote/memory. The colours of the headstones look realistic although the grass looks a little too green, especially towards the back.   Posted: 11/12/2025 14:34:22
It is amazing that you can see such detail preserved so well on these stones. A well composed shot, with the background giving us a sense of place. Nice even colors and sharp detail.   Posted: 11/17/2025 22:12:16
