About the Image(s)

I took this with my Nikon D7500 with a 17-70 Sigma lens at 52mm, 1/8 sec., F 6.3, ISO 640. I put against a tee-shirt background that looked terrible so I created a textured backdrop in a color that matched the softest pink of the flower and layered that behind the flower. I cropped, cleaned it up, added a little clarity and texture.
Any comments/critiques appreciated !

Donna, this image is beautiful. The background adds a softness that creates a painting like feel. I think you made a great choice with the colors as well, adding a pop to the stem. Wow!! Nicely done.   Posted: 07/11/2024 17:39:20

You are skilled with Photoshop Donna and have enhanced the flower beautifully.
Your choice of background colour is perfect and the details of the flower itself are really clear.
It's a most attractive image.   Posted: 07/12/2024 06:11:09

Great image. The image is very sharp in all areas. The colors are perfect.   Posted: 07/19/2024 19:46:47

Wonderful image! I have little to suggest. Maybe lightening the petal on the right would make it more uniform; as is, it may draw attention to itself.   Posted: 07/23/2024 00:37:57

Thanks, Doug, I'm thinking that might be a good idea.   Posted: 07/23/2024 22:28:00

A great image!! Everything is sharp and the flower is perfectly positioned in the scene, with petals balancing each other in all directions. A picky judge might comment that the dark leaf at lower right is too distracting. Keep it in, but tone it down?   Posted: 07/23/2024 23:05:58
