About the Image(s)
This image was taken during autumn in The Flinders Ranges in South Australia. It is a beautiful, colourful area of genuine Australian outback which offers many and varied photographic opportunities and has been a favourite part of this country for me since childhood.
I accompanied a dozen others for a photography workshop to practice and learn, especially about landscape photography.
This image was taken mid morning using the panorama technique of several photos left to right and then combining them in Lightroom. After combination, I cropped some of the width out so as to highlight what had caught my eye about the scene before me - the blue sky and clouds, the purple-orange mountain ranges in the background, the leading line of the path and grey foliage in the foreground and the green trees mid-ground.
I am interested in what you think would make it better.
Fujifilm X-T4, 10-24mm lens @11.5mm, ISO 160, f11, 1/140 ss
Combined three images using panorama in Lightroom, light editing including cropping, and colour enhancement."

I think the image would look better if you would crop off quite a lot from the bottom and also some of the sky -- really make it more panoramic. I don't think the pathway and grasses really add much. I would increase contrast a bit.
Here's what I had in mind: But it's all your decision! Just offering some ideas.   Posted: 07/11/2024 17:26:26
